MH- Outfits

After researching the typical outfits and type of clothing for the boyband genre, i came up with some ideas for what our boyband could be wearing. most of the clothing would be very new, modern and in fashion. furthermore, each look would need to be repeated for each member of the boyband, to create some sort of correlation. most of the time boyband's use this correlation, futhermore sometimes they each have their own individual look. this applies to the colours also, either all of the colours match or all of the colours are different. here is a collection of outfits i gathered together, to show tyhe type of clothing that we would be wearing.

    yes i agree, we should keep a stylish and fashionable look when we are creating our video, perhaps trying to go for the smart/casual look?

    yeah i know what you mean mate, i reckon like clothes form shops such as, zara, asos, massimo dutti, urban outfitters, choice etc., lots of expensive clothing, if you need money let me know, ive got lots.

    those were the same sort of shops i was thinking of. If we can make ourselves take that smart/casual look it would create a better effect and make our video look more stylish and modern.

    Are we going to establish ourselves with the different colours which JLS have? E.g ashton has the colour blue which he tends to wear? I dont no whether or not this will be a good idea because it may look as though we are trying to duplicate JLS's custome style which will take the uniqueability factor away from our music video that we are trying to create? Any comments would be good? JP

    In my opinion i'd say no to the matching clothing. too much like JLS, and if you look at other Boy Bands, they seem to manage without matching. Just as long as the overall star motifs are in correlation with each other we should be fine.

    yeah we need to stick to boyband conventions and make sure our outfits are in fashion and reinforce the typical star motifs found in a boyband. things like jeans and hoodies can be encorporatyed but only to some extent as we dont want to convey ourselves as hoodies or thugs. we need to reach out to a wider audienca aswell.
